Clean Out That Closet
- Consignments are accepted during regular business hours. We request an appointment for your convenience.
- Clothes are accepted seasonally:
Spring - February to April
Summer - May to July
Fall - August to October
Winter - November to January - Clothes need to be cleaned, pressed and on hangers. Please do not bring clothes in bags or boxes.
- Clothes must be in style – no more than 2 years old. Clothes must be in perfect condition with no odors.
Make Some Cash
- Second Glance pays you 40% of the selling price.
- Second Glance pays checks on demand as long as an item has been sold for at least 5 days. Monies are available as store credit immediately.
- Clothes are held for 60 days.
- Unsold clothes are donated to Star of Hope, a mission in Paterson who uses the proceeds of the very cheap sale of these clothes to run children’s programs. An itemized list with prices will be provided to you for tax purposes.
How it Works
- Based on experience, our staff determines what our customers are looking for.
- Second Glance sets the price. Our prices are about 1/3 of retail prices.
Increase Your Profits
- Our customers have great taste and are very discriminating. Brands such as Ann Taylor, Chicos, Talbots, J. Crew, and designers like Juicy Couture, D & G, Kay Unger, Tahari, Eileen Fisher, etc. get better prices.
- The better the condition the better the price
- Bring clothes early in a season – at the end of a season, clothes are reduced in price.
